To: Isle of Wight Planning Authority

I should like to express my strong support for wind power on the Isle of Wight and , in particular, the proposed development at Ventnor Golf Club, P/00444/09.

I feel very strongly that the majority view in favour of wind turbines, in the present climate, is not being expressed.  All relevant national opinion polls consistently show that 68% of the population are in favour; indeed this increases amongst people who actually live near wind turbines.

If we are to make a contribution towards the reduction in Global Warming, then we must increase the production of renewable energy at every opportunity.
