Membership
Ventnor Golf Club always welcomes new members, be they keen competitive players or simply those who wish to enjoy the pleasure of a round with friends.
The Club holds competitions on most Sundays and Tuesdays throughout the year. These are open to anyone holding a handicap, 28 maximum for Men and 45 for Ladies. If you don't currently hold a handicap, the Secretary will arrange for someone to mark three scoring rounds so that you can be issued with one. (Maximum scoring round, Men 100, Ladies 115)
During each year Members of the Club can take part in inter-club competitions with other Island clubs and also in individual and pairs competitions organised by the Isle of Wight Golf Union.
Members also have the advantage of being able to play at other Island clubs, on weekdays through the year, at half the normal green fees.
Membership Fees
- Full Member £395 (Direct Debit - 10 monthly payments of £51.00)
- Family/ Joint Members £700 (no restriction on number of children)
- Weekender Member £195 (Friday 4pm - Sunday 7pm, including Bank Holiday Mondays - Eligible for Club Competitions)
- Country Member £290 (Main residence off the Island)
- Junior Member £25 (in full time education)
- Social Member £30
- Associate Member £170 (Associate membership is open to members of other Island clubs who wish to play regularly at Ventnor. Associate members are not entitled to take part in competitions or attend Club meetings, including the AGM.
- Life Membership £3,250 Under 60, £2500 60 - 65, £1,750 Over 65
Members Guests - Members can introduce a Guest to play at half the normal Green Fee. This concession is limited to one guest at a time for a maximum of eight rounds in any one year.
If you are interested in joining the club the Secretary can arrange for you to play a complimentary round with a member, so that you can view the course.
